I haven’t painted anatomy studies in a WHILE… which is why this one ended up being both fun and at times very frustrating. I sketch for practice very often, but I seldom paint bodies with all the muscles on display - they are usually covered by clothing or armour. 😅

▶️ My takeaway: I need to study the smaller muscles and do some more fabric practice.

March was... not very friendly. 😅

It was a very busy month, but the work I've done is not something I'm able to show you yet. I guess this means I will have A LOT to show you in May, though. 😉 I managed to complete only one personal artwork - but one I'm very happy with - and post a new blog post, which is always a tiny victory.

In personal life, I'm still slowly dying from noise exposure due to construction undearneath my balcony (5 more months to go...). I'm trying to travel a bit every month to get away from the noise, and get out of the house as much as I can - the upside of that is that I'm visiting cinemas, museums, and taking a lot of walks around the neighbourhood. 😅

How was your March? Better or worse (hopefully not! 😆) than mine?
