This was a monumental project with over a 100 photographs, an extensive bibliography and lots of cool visual solutions that the author and I worked out to properly display all the content. 👌

"A bit of magic" - if you were wondering what I was doing on vacation (because of course you were 😜), this is it. ✨️

This was supposed to be creepy/necromancey at first, but then I tried out different colours for the magic and fell in love with the gold/blue contrast.

I'm really hoping to find time for more personal artworks in the second half of the year - after working REALLY hard on commercial illustrations for the first seven months, I have a new appreciation for having time to experiment, change my mind, and take my time when painting. Meandering is an important part of the process. 😜
