All the 23 horse sketches are officially finished

All the 23 horse sketches are officially finished - they're for a book by Elisabeth Johansen, "Ikke lobotomer hesten", which will become available later this year. ;)

This was definitely a challenge, but I really enjoyed getting to capture each horse's personality and characteristics. I can't wait to show you guys the full book!

Happy New Year! Are you planning on setting any

Happy New Year!

Are you planning on setting any goals for yourself for 2025?

My art goals are always ambitious, and I very rarely manage to reach them – but hey, it means I believe in myself no matter the circumstances! 😆

This year I decided to keep it more general, though – I plan to:
🔹Work through at least 1 art course every three months – I plan to start with @bucciblog s Colour Survival Guide in January!
🔹 Finally face backgrounds and perspective – though it will definitely be a lesson in frustration…
🔹 Continue working on all the skills I focused on in 2024 – so nature painting, and understanding of colour, fabrics and materials

On the business side of things, I plan to:
🔹 Invest in a new iPad for painting with more RAM and higher resolution
🔹 Redesign my portfolio slightly at the beginning of the year, and maybe invest in a professional redesign later on
🔹 Continue writing my Book Design 101 articles, translate them into Norwegian, and start posting them also on LinkedIn

What do you think? I hope to cross off at least 50% off the list by next December. 😅
