Sea of Stars and Brave Little Crab are children’s books written by Beth Costanzo and illustrated by Ekaterina Illina.

The books’ design is based on alternating spreads – with the left side showing text, and the right side – an illustration. The first of the two stories turned out to require more space than the number of illustrations allowed for, so some of the spreads had to be designed separately. To make them equally interesting, elements of various illustrations were cut out and used to fill the additional pages.
